J. Roddy Walston & The Business are thrilled to announce the worldwide TV debut performance of their single "The Wanting" will take place Wednesday, September 27th on Conan at 11 PM EST. Described as "a fascinating mixture of Arcade Fire grandeur and Weezer riff crunching" by Billboard, listen to "The Wanting" HERE.

New album Destroyers of the Soft Life will be released this Friday, September 29 and courtesy of Noisey you can now advance stream it in full and read their interview with Rod Walston HERE as he describes how the band broke themselves down to build back up in the four years since their last record. JRWATB have been road warriors and an underground favorite from the time they formed in 2002. In the fall of 2013 their album Essential Tremors gained commercial and critical acclaim and lived on the Heatseekers chart for 6+ consecutive months with singles "Take It As It Comes" and "Heavy Bells", reaching #9 and #12 at alternative radio, respectively. Essential Tremors tracks were also utilized in TV spots for Coors Light, ESPN and Showtime's "Quarry".
In 2013 the band also poured their songs and sweat onto the festival stages of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Newport Folk Festival and the TV sound stages of Late Night with David Letterman, Conan and Austin City Limits for the first time. All upcoming tour dates are listed below.
