Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Seth Glier is hitting the summer festival circuit in support of his latest album, If I Could Change One Thing (MPress). Prior to those, Glier will make his debut on NPR's Mountain Stage on June 7th, with California-based roots rockers Dawes.

After wrapping a successful headline tour with numerous sold-out shows, Glier will perform at the Kerrville Folk Festival on May 29th in Kerrville, TX alongside legendary artists like David Crosby and Emmy Lou Harris; New Bedford Folk Festival on July 4th weekend in New Bedford, MA and the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival on July 10th in Okemah, OK. If I Could Change One Thing debuted in the top 40 on the Singer Songwriter album chart on iTunes, and remains on the "Hot Tracks" list 5-weeks later at #31. American Songwriter featured Glier as a "Daily Discovery" artist on the homepage of the site. Billboard.com premiered the music video for the title track "If I Could Change One Thing" featuring American Idol's Crystal Bowersox.

Glier leans towards a genuine modern-pop direction, marking a bold departure from his previous, more acoustic recordings. If I Could Change One Thing merges genres seamlessly, with universal songs about falling in and out of love and social action that capture a songwriter and performer at the peak of his young abilities. Available now via iTunes and the MPress Records store.

USA Today included the album in their round up of April's greatest new music releases noting "true sweetness is an under-appreciated quality in modern music - not the sugary confections of pop radio, but song with a kind heart and a gentleness of spirit. Sweetess abounds in the charming fourth album from Massachusetts-born singer-songwriter, but that's not to say Glier can't sing about weightier matters."

On this new release, the gifted young troubadour has teamed up with producer Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Joshua Radin). "This album is the one I'm most proud of to date," says Glier. "Making If I Could Change One Thing was such an inspired process from writing almost 100 songs throughout the year to recording my favorite twelve in LA with Bill." Lefler notes, "It's not often you get to work with an artist with such musicality and real ability. Seth is a true standout. A true musician, songwriter and singer."

Critical acclaim for If I Could Change One Thing includes:

"For Glier's fourth album, he's taking his aesthetic from acoustic balladeer to modern-pop crooner, all while preserving the heartfelt songwriting..." -Billboard.com

"Folk lyrics with a pop feel, philosophical musings with a backbeat and grown-up love songs delivered in Glier's youthful tenor hold our attention." -Elmore Magazine

"While other singer/songwriters opt to elevate their hipness factor by taking dusty roads of self-despair, Seth Glier abstains from pretense and offers instead an album filled unbridled pop perfection." -PopMatters.com

At only 26 years old, Glier has released three albums prior to If I could Change One Thing, including his Grammy-nominated sophomore album The Next Right Thing, and the critically praised Things I Should Let You Know. Glier has shared the stage with artists as diverse as James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Edwin McCain, Martin Sexton, Emmylou Harris and Ryan Adams, and has quickly become known for his passionate live sets and powerful command of both piano and guitar.
