Philadelphia indie-folk trio Good Old War is heading back out on the road, this time joining Counting Crows on the first leg of their summer tour, The Outlaw Roadshow. Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz teamed up with Ryan Spaulding (http://www.rslblog.com/) to handpick the bands and venues that they loved. Spaulding said, "Sitting down and talking with Adam Duritz about the selection, it was a real no-brainer." And on May 2nd, Adam tweeted "I love this band @GoodOldWar. They had me the first time I heard 'Coney Island' and you're gonna dig 'em too." Good Old War will start the summer stint beginning on June 9th in Asbury Park, NJ and will remain as support until the first leg of the tour wraps up in Indianapolis, IN on July 1st.

Good Old War recently finished up a successful nationwide headlining tour in support of their third full length album, Come Back As Rain. The tour included stops at Dallas' House of Blues, Los Angeles' Avalon, and a sold-out Bowery Ballroom show in New York City. Come Back As Rain was released on March 6th, 2012 via Sargent House records and charted at #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart week of release. The album's success drew in new attention and earned them their first ever late-night television booking just a month later on Conan.

After their stint with Counting Crows, the band will take a short break before heading back out as main support for Dispatch this fall. For the most up to date information, please visit www.goodoldwar.com.
