Powerhouse female country group Farewell Angelina made a special exclusive announcement on Taste of Country today. The band gathered with host Ania Hammar to let the world know band member Lisa Torres and her husband Chadd are expecting a baby in October.

In the #bumwatch feature, Ania asked if Lisa was having any cravings (none) and if they are going to find out the sex of the baby ahead of time (they are not.) The full feature can be seen here.

"I still can't believe that I'm having a baby most days, but this announcement makes it feel even more real and I love getting to share this experience with these amazing women on the road," said Torres. "We can't thank Taste of Country enough for their support this year! We've been dying to let our friends and fans know about this incredibly exciting news!"

Farewell Angelina won Taste of Country's inaugural fan-voted "Hot Seat" position in their coveted RISERS program earlier this year, affording the four singers, songwriters and badass multi-instrumentalists incredible exposure and the opportunity to open for Frankie Ballard, Old Dominion and Kenny Chesney at the massive Country Jam in Grand Junction, CO last month. They were back in Colorado on Sunday to open for Trace Adkins at the Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre in Loveland, CO.

The foursome opened for the Bacon Brothers' June tour dates and will be back opening for actor Kevin and his film-scoring brother Michael next month in the Northeast. This Saturday, they will perform at the new Livingston Central Park just east of Nashville.

Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group signed to Dreamlined Entertainment. Together their magic blend of a multitude of stringed instruments, two blazing violins, and unique harmonies have taken Nashville by storm, and that enthusiasm is now spreading via word-of-mouth, social media, and live shows that bring down the house. They were recently named as one of Taste of Country's RISERS, which spotlights the top new artists of 2017, and RollingStone listed them as one of their "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know."
