Elton John & Billy Joel Tribute to Return to the Suncoast Showroom, 7/5-6
Piano Men, a high-energy tribute to Sir Elton John and Billy Joel, returns to the Suncoast Showroom on July 5 and 6.
The Piano Men tribute offers a night of songs, energetic performances, outrageous costumes and true rock and roll. Sir Elton John and Billy Joel tribute artists - Jeffery Allen and Mike Santoro - respectfully capture the prowess of the legendary musicians during their interactive show.
Just like the original tour, each artist performs a solo set with a backing band. The show culminates with a "Face to Face" set, featuring the tribute artists on stage together with two pianos trading off lyrics on each song they perform. The show captures the performers' piano skills and outrageous costumes dating from the '70s to today.
Members of the band include Michael Nickens, Hal Hays, Steve Poncar and Jason Meadows.
