Drew and Ellie Holcomb are thrilled to share that they'll be hitting the road together again in 2019 on The You & Me Tour: An Evening with Drew and Ellie Holcomb which kicks off in late January and brings a special evening of music to folks around the US. The powerhouse Nashville couple announced the tour last week and within hours, both the Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN shows were sold out with several others close behind. In addition, Drew and Ellie are thrilled to bring back their Neighborly Christmas for another year at Nashville's SchermerhornSymphony Center (December 17 & 22) and Memphis' Orpheum Theater (December 21). The couple met while Drew, a native Memphian, and Ellie, a Nashvillian, were attending school together at the University of Tennessee. The Holcombs married in 2006 and began touring together with Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors. Upon the arrival of their first daughter, Ellie took a step back from the heavy touring cycle and focused on both her solo career and motherhood. Besides their annual Christmas shows in Tennessee, the pair got together creatively to release a stunning new single, "You & Me," and also completed a select run of dates earlier this year.
Drew Holcomb and his band The Neighbors have released several critically-acclaimed records including the #1 folk album Souvenir in 2017. He's toured with the likes of Willie Nelson, Ryan Adams andJohn Hiatt and played festivals around the world including Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Hardly StrictlyBluegrass, Forecastle and more. Most recently, he teamed up with JOHNNYSWIM for a collaborative EP Goodbye Road featuring the resonant call-to-action single "Ring the Bells" which the artists performed together on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this summer. In its fourth year, the 2018 Moon River Music Festival presented by Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors boasted a line-up that included The Avett Brothers, Mavis Staples, The Head and The Heart, Margo Price, Judah & the Lion, and more and sold out in in less than 24 hours. He also continues to grow Magnolia Record Club, a vinyl subscription service which he personally curates each month.
In her solo career, Ellie has found considerable success with albums As Sure As the Sun which earned her a Dove Award for Best New Artist and Red Sea Road, both of which hit #1 on the iTunes Christian Chart. Most recently, she released both a children's record Sing: Creation Songs (#1Billboard for Children's Music) and her debut children's book, Who Sang the First Song? (#1 New Release for Christian Children's Book). Earlier this year, she also signed a publishing deal with Capitol Christian Music Publishing as a songwriter and B&H as an author.
