Devlin Brings MOVING ON to Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage Tonight

Tonight, April 29 at 8:00 PM, Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage in San Diego and Sher Krieger Events are presenting Devlin in Moving On.

Actress/singer Devlin returns to the MA4 mainstage after her successful return to performing in 2014. This year's show, Moving On will feature a mix of jazz, blues, pop, and Broadway tunes, sharing her new journey in life. Loss, change, love, and, of course, laughs along the way. Devlin will be accompanied once again by Richard James on piano.

Devlin, who is well known in New York from two cabaret shows that featured arrangements by Rick Jensen and Tex Arnold and originally directed by Lina Koutrakos, is a favorite performer in San Diego. She has appeared on many of San Diego's major theater stages including San Diego Rep, North Coast Rep, Lamb's Players, New Village Arts and Diversionary Theatre. She has written and produced two one-woman shows, most notably Parianos Drive and has co-produced with Vantage Theatre two productions of Frankie and Johnny in the Claire De Lune under the direction of her long time coach D.J. Sullivan.

In 2006 Devlin was accepted at the Yale Cabaret Conference where she studied with New York's best in cabaret performance art. Devlin made her New York cabaret debut in 2007 at Helen's and later that year released her CD "Devlin Live in New York" at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center. Recorded live at the Metropolitan Room in New York City, the CD was co-produced by Rick Jensen and Devlin. In addition to Helen's and The Metropolitan Room, Devlin has also performed at such Manhattan clubs as Don't Tell Mama and Birdland as well The Riviera Maya Resort in Cancun Mexico and Billy Reed's in Palm Springs. Most recently she has performed in San Diego to rave reviews at The Convivio Center and Humphrey's.
