Pop vocalist and international performer Curtis Winchester's CD, "Do the Natural Thing" is now available on iTunes and CD Baby. Three years in the making, "Do the Natural Thing" features the talents of some of Westchester New Yorks' musicians including Grammy nominated guitar legend Gil Parris and former NY Yankee and Grammy nominated guitarist Bernie Williams.

The idea for "Do the Natural Thing", grew out of the weekly jam sessions that happen every Wednesday evening at the Lazy Lounge in White Plains, New York . This jam is hosted by vocalist Curtis Winchester and guitarist Gil Parris. Multi media artist and Stoopid Daddy Records founder Scott Staton, a regular at the weekly jam, had recently completed producing Susan McMahons' debut CD "The Scheme of Things" and suggested to Curtis that they work together on a new CD of
all original songs.

Curtis Winchester began his music career as a DJ. He started fronting bands as a vocalist in the mid 1980's and cites his main vocal influences as Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole and Robert Cray. Curtis' performing credits include opening for BB King with Gil Parris at the Paramount in Peekskill, NY and headlining with Les Six Jazz Potes at La Seguinere Jazz Club in Nice, France where Curtis performed
selections from "Do the Natural Thing." Produced by Grammy Award winning recording
engineer Larry Alexander and Scott Staton, "Do the Natural Thing'" is designed to evoke a 70's kind of Baby Boomer sensibility with memorable original songs and hip R & B, smooth jazz arrangements. The songs feature the background vocals of Nicole Hart, Gail Newman and Susan McMahon. "Summer Love" an Alexander/Staton penned composition features a harmonica solo by current Blood Sweat and Tears frontman Rob Papparozzi and professional sax sideman Dan Cipriano creates a classic horn arrangement on the Staton song "Perfect Geometry". Nearly all the tracks except "Take me Upstairs" which was recorded in New Orleans feature the classic guitar work of Gil Parris.

Gil and Bernie Williams share solos on the Winchester/Staton tune "Lookin for Love" and last but not least is the Denny Leroux composition and title track of the CD, "Do the Natural Thing". Denny Leroux, who lives in Atlantic Beach Florida, was for many years the travelling Rock and Roll performer with the Peter Duchin Orchestra.
