Multi-platinum selling country music artist Lorrie Morgan guests this weekend on America's most-listened-to pet talk radio show Animal Radio in support of her latest album release, Letting Go... Slow, and album released today, A Picture Of Me - Greatest Hits and More. Purchase her latest, A Picture Of Me - Greatest Hits and More, here.
Lorrie Morgan is not only a powerhouse country performer, but she's also a "hands-on" supporter of her local animal rescue foundation, New Leash on Life. Lorrie has performed several benefit concerts to help fund the non-profit animal welfare organization. Lorrie also has a house full of fur including Weezy and Puddin', her pit bulls, and Abbey and Ray, her Great Pyrenees, as well as a pond of not-so-furry koi fish. And like most pet lovers, she tolerates the dogs jockeying for position in bed every night. "Pit bulls are misunderstood," says Morgan. "I'll often get on Facebook and see videos of animals being mistreated. I want to know who's filming the videos, as I'd like to smack them in the head!" "Lorrie doesn't just talk the talk. She walks the walk when it comes to protecting our companion animals," says Animal Radio host Hal Abrams.Videos
