Centenary Stage Company's Jammin' in July Summer Concert Series welcomes the Masters of Motown to the Sitnik Theatre tonight, July 20th at 8 pm in the David and Carol Lackland Center at 715 Grand Avenue in Hackettstown.

In the early 60's, some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City of Detroit, MI, better known simply as Motown. Masters of Motown is a celebration of these artists, their music and style. The show features stylishly costumed fully choreographed tributes to both male and female groups backed by a live band. The 10-person cast has performed to numerous sold-out audiences and garnered rave reviews across the country. This high-energy show is perfect for audiences of all ages. Whether a long-time fan or listening to this music for the first time, the show offers a way to experience a period in this country's past that produced many of the greatest music acts ever recorded, including The Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, and The Supremes. Masters of Motown's dynamic vocalists are backed by a band of seasoned musicians who have been performing together for decades. This seasoned group will feature numbers by everyone's favorite artists. Ticket-buyers do need to act soon, because tickets are selling fast.

Tickets for the Masters of Motown tonight, July 20th at 8 pm range from $22.50 to $30 in advance and $25.50 to $35 for day of purchases, with discounts for seniors, students, and children under 12.

Masters of Motown is part of Centenary Stage Company's Jammin' in July Summer Concert Series, which will also include The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, and New Jersey Youth Theatre's Production of West Side Story.

Tickets are available online at www.centenarystageco.org, or by calling the box office at 908-979-0900. They may also be purchased through the CSC Box office at 715 Grand Ave., open 1-5 PM Monday through Friday, and 2 hours prior to each performance.

July 14-20, Hackettstown's Business Improvement District (B.I.D.) will be holding a special event, Restaurant Week: A Passport to Hackettstown. Participants can pick up a Restaurant Week Passport from the B.I.D. Office at 207 Main Street, then spend at least $10 at any of the participating restaurants to receive a sticker. At the end of the week, participants can turn in their passports and receive one entry per sticker in a raffle for $100 in B.I.D. Bucks, no purchase necessary. Audiences can celebrate the wonderful and varied dining experiences available in Hackettstown. Participating restaurants include Applebee's, Bea McNally's, C & L Subs N Grub, Domino's Pizza, Frank's Trattoria, Hackettstown Chinese, Leo's Lunch, Mamas Restaurant & Cafe Baci, Marley's Gotham Grill, Pandan Room, Philly Pretzel Factory, Prickly Pear, Rita's Italian Ice, Stella G's, Subway, and The Grove.
