Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome BoDeans back to the stage for a rocking good time at 8 p.m. on November 3, 2017! Long considered one of the best live acts in the business, BoDeans have continued to tour year round and deliver amazing, high-energy performances to their loyal following for three decades.

"With a steady following in the Midwest, BoDeans do it better than most other rockers," says Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. "The eclectic energy of their show makes you feel like you are in an intimate club partying rather than with a sold-out crowd of 750 new friends at Raue Center."

BoDeans released their critically acclaimed debut record, "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams," in 1986. Chart topping songs like "Fadeaway," "Only Love" and "Dreams" soon won over listeners and earned BoDeans the title of Best New American Band in a 1987 reader's poll by "Rolling Stone." The band's reputation for delivering a dynamic live show garnered support slots with U2, Joshua Tree, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, David Bowie, The Pretenders and more.

Best known for their catchy single, "Closer to Free," BoDeans' accessible adult alternative sound has led to a number of milestones in the 30 years that followed. The band has released 13 studio albums, with 10 records that hit the Billboard Top 200, numerous singles on the Mainstream Rock, Top 40 and Triple A radio charts and over 2 million in sales worldwide.

Known for defining a generation with songs like "Good Things," "Idaho" and "All The World," BoDeans have earned a permanent installation in the Midwest Artists Exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Music by BoDeans was recently featured throughout the Netflix original series, "The Ranch," with the band making a guest appearance during season two, which premiered in 2016.

BoDeans released their most recent studio album, the aptly titled "13," in April 2017 and show no signs of slowing down. The band has a number of exciting plans for 2017, including a PBS special and non-stop touring.

Tickets start at $55 and can be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or at 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
