Bandsintown Announces Official Big Break Artist Showcase at SXSW

Bandsintown, the largest independent concert discovery platform, today announced their Big Break showcase at South by Southwest 2018 in Austin, Texas. The festival's first ever and most ambitious data-driven official showcase will occur on March 14, 2018 at Javelina, and feature performances from Bandsintown Big Break artists FOXTRAX, Peach Pit, Sisters, The Lagoons, and Sneaks.

Thanks to their reach of 130 Million music fans, 40 million registered concert goers and 450,000 touring artists, Bandsintown is able to tap into live music insights and see who concert-goers are obsessing over before everyone else. Announced last December, Bandsintown's "Big Break" is a data-driven emerging artist program, that identifies artists who have grown the most between 100 and 5,000 trackers within a 6 month period. "Big Break" artists receive promotion across Bandsintown's digital network, in customized editorial, in-app features, brand partnerships, touring, special showcase opportunities, and social media promotion.
