Billboard.com reports that the cast recording to Broadway's BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY has reclaimed the top spot on the Cast Albums chart.

The original Broadway cast recording of the romantic musical from Ghostlight Records has also broke into the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, debuting at #86. Produced by Jason Robert Brown and Jeffrey Lesser, with Kurt Deutsch serving as executive producer, the album was released on May 19th.

The Bridges of Madison County was based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller and opened on February 20, 2014 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The production closed on May 18th.

Four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara reunited with Bartlett Sher, the Tony-winning director of South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza, for the new musical by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning team of Marsha Norman and Jason Robert Brown. The show also starred Steven Pasquale ("Rescue Me", reasons to be pretty).
