When country vocal band Home Free was crowned champion of NBC's The Sing-Off, their victory was by no means the beginnings of a career the country stars from Minnesota... rather it was a satisfying culmination of nearly a decade of hard work and commitment to a vocal craft growing in popularity. They have become known for their high-energy performances, peppered with quick-witted humor that meshes Nashville standards with pop hits dipped in country flavor.

Founded by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp during their college years in the early 2000s, the five-man band is comprised of Austin Brown (high tenor), Tim Foust (bass), Rob Lundquist (tenor), Adam Rupp (vocal percussion/beat boxer), and Chris Rupp (baritone). Prior to The Sing-Off, Home Free had been perfecting their live show for years, performing together for crowds in countless state and country fairs, on college campuses, in Fortune 500 companies, and in theaters all across the country. It was their experience on the road that carried them to a Sing-Off victory, swelling their fan base and bringing their homegrown country style into a national spotlight.

Since their Sing-Off win, Home Free has released three albums, including Crazy Life, Full Of Cheer, and, most recently, Country Evolution, selling more than 150,000 copies; they've embarked on two major national tours, selling more than 100,000 tickets in North America; they've released more than 20 music videos, amassing more than 35 million YouTube views.

Elevating Home Free "from auxiliary entertainment to headlining attraction" (Times Leader), their latest album Country Evolution includes five originals and nine new renditions of hit songs. Produced by longtime collaborator Darren Rust, the high-energy album showcases the band's extraordinary talents, tight harmonies and intelligent arrangements that are uniquely their own. Ranging from country classics to unexpected twists on popular modern hits, including "Honey, I'm Good" and "House Party," the project features collaborations with special guest artists Charlie Daniels, The Oak Ridge Boys and YouTube star Taylor Davis.

The Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University provides high-quality activities for over 50,000 people from 664 zip codes annually through performances, rehearsals, museum exhibitions, and master classes. Located on Pepperdine's breathtaking Malibu campus overlooking the Pacific, the center serves as a hub for the arts, uniquely linking professional guest artists with Pepperdine students as well as patrons from surrounding Southern California communities. Facilities include the 450-seat Smothers Theatre, the 118-seat Raitt Recital Hall, the "black box" Helen E. Lindhurst Theatre, and the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art.
