Weltachs Wines' Rosé Makes First Appearance in the US Market

With the onset of Spring and the upcoming warm weather summer season, American wine drinkers will experience a newcomer to the US wine market as Weltachs Winery's Rosé makes its first appearance in North America.

Weltachs' Rosé is made exclusively from the Portugieser grape, a varietal with a 400-year history in Germany's Pfalz growing area. The Pfalz is known for its warm, almost Mediterranean, climate. This unique warmth enables grapes grown in the Palatinate to attain their fullest physiological ripeness and taste potential.

Richly pink in color, exhibiting an orange-like shimmer, Weltachs Rosé is designed for broad public acceptance. It is easily accessible and shows fulsome, ripe-strawberry flavor, medium dry, neither cloying nor acidic.
