TCM CLASSIC FILM TOUR by On Locations Tours is a NYC Happening for Movie Fans

Be wowed! The TCM Classic Film Tour by On Locations Tours offers an incomparable perspective of New York City and its relationship to your favorite movies. While it is ideal for classic movie lovers, the tour offers a view of New York City that is great for all. We recently enjoyed a Saturday tour. There were people of all ages who attended and the guests were completely engaged and delighted.

The TCM Classic Film Tour commences in Times Square on Saturdays at 10:30 am. The comfortable bus is equipped with convenient storage areas. Monitors are strategically placed so you can view the well-selected video clips that complement your overall tour experience. Our knowledgeable and charming tour guide, Jason provided information that was fascinating. Plan about three to four hours. The tour courses through the Upper West Side, Central Park, the Upper East Side, and concludes in Midtown near Grand Central Station. Around noon, guests have the opportunity to stop for a quick bite at Zabar's, the gourmet market and deli on the Upper West Side. There are also multiple opportunities to disembark the bus to take fun, unforgettable photos of movie landmarks.

As native New Yorkers, we were surprised to learn so much new and exciting information about our home city. Spots like The Queensboro Bridge was featured in Manhattan and My Man Godfrey. The Dakota Building was seen in Rosemary's Baby. Who could ever forget Stay Puft Marshmallow Man lumbering toward Columbus Circle in Ghostbusters? And the St. Regis Hotel is featured in both Taxi Driver and The Godfather. You'll even have the chance to stop off on East 71st Street and see the exterior of Holly Golightly's townhouse that was filmed in Breakfast at Tiffany's. These along with more than 35 iconic city landmarks are highlighted on the tour. You may be surprised to learn that The Plaza Hotel is the most filmed building in New York City and Central Park is the most filmed location in the world. We especially like the variety of film clips and associated sites that were featured from romantic comedies to thrillers and superhero films.
