Dole Packaged Foods Kicks Off Tournament of Roses Sponsorship With The Ray of Sunshine Sweepstakes

Dole Packaged Foods, famous for its award-winning Rose Parade Tournament of Roses Parade float and the record-holder for most Sweepstakes Trophy wins, is kicking off the road to the 2018 Rose Parade with its Ray of Sunshine Sweepstakes and partnership with Feeding America.

The theme for this year's Tournament of Roses, 'Making A Difference,' celebrates acts of kindness that enrich the lives of others and are a source of hope and inspiration for everyone. Dole Packaged Foods' 2018 float, "Sharing Nature's Bounty," showcases its passion for improving communities, the environment and its commitment to sustainability.

In honor of this year's Rose Parade theme, Dole Packaged Foods' Ray of Sunshine Sweepstakes asks participants to share in 300 words or less how they or someone they know makes a positive impact in their local community, for a chance to win $5,000 and 5,000 pounds of food to donate to their local charity of choice, as well as be featured in Dole Packaged Foods' Sunshine Times.

Launching today on Facebook.com/DoleSunshine and running through December 20, 2017, Dole Packaged Foods will also award five consolation prizes of 5,000 pounds of food to donate to a local charity and Dole's official 2018 Tournament of Roses pin to one hundred randomly selected runner-ups each week.
