Centenary Stage Co. Continues DANCE FEST with Nimbus Dance Works Centenary Stage Company's Annual Dance Festival closes on Sunday, March 25 at 3pm in the Lackland Performing Arts Center with Nimbus Dance Works. Nimbus Dance Works brings to life the powerful story of Biblical heroine Esther, an inspirational young woman who arose from very humble beginnings.

Esther's evolution from a position of passivity to possibility, and ultimate empowerment, examines the questions of "How is power wielded?" "Who gets to be the boss?" and "What role does gender and sexuality play in all of this?" In dynamic collaboration with Brooklyn Indie-Rock band, Sky-Pony, the story of Esther and its relevance today has emerged. Nimbus Dance Works will also feature World Premiers by Darshan Singh Bhuller (former artistic director of London's Phoenix Dance Theatre) and Vernard Gilmore (renowned dancer with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre).

Tickets for Nimbus Dance Works on March 25 at 3pm in the Sitnik Theater of the Lackland Performing Arts Center, are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for children.
