'Think.Process.Emotion.' Sets for New Marketing Campaign
"Think. Process. Emotion.: A Collection of Poetry" (published by Xlibris in April of 2011) shares a compilation of Kilby's poems with the intent that everyone might feel comfortable reaching inside themselves however they may do so, to discover who they are.
"I began writing poetry in high school as a means of expressing and releasing emotions that accompanied the stresses and struggles of life," Kilby says. "By observing others, I try to discern the reasons why people act the way they do, to understand the human condition. Of all beings in the universe, the ones we understand the least are ourselves. Through my writing, I communicate the fundamental tenants of human life: the struggles, the emotions, the constant striving for something greater."
By sharing his poetic work in "Think. Process. Emotion.," Kilby would like to remind readers that "we are capable of more than we realize, and it is this daily upward battle that makes us what we are."
