'The Execution of Jesus the Christ' is Released

While there has been much discussion on the crucifixion through biblical texts and other research, Dr. Mark Kubala uses his medical expertise to further examine the physical trauma experienced by Jesus Christ and his cause of death in, "The Execution of Jesus the Christ."

The book includes a historical background on life in Judea, a chronology of Jesus's last week, and the medical aspects of the crucifixion.

"For many years, I have been thinking about, studying, and trying to understand what happened to Jesus's body from the time he was arrested in the garden of Gethsemane, through his illegal trial and condemnation to death by Pontius Pilate, to his death from crucifixion," said Dr. Kubala. "What were the physiological changes that took place in this healthy 33-year-old male, who had just eaten a Last Supper meal on Thursday evening and was dead 18 hours later?"

Since crucifixion is not fully understood by the public today, the book is presented in a language that is more easily understood by non-medical professionals to have a greater sense of Jesus's suffering when executed.

"The Execution of Jesus the Christ," is a text not only for Christian readers, but also those who wish to understand the historical and medical factors regarding one of most famous figures of the world.
