Taylor Ryan Powers was born and raised in Cooperstown, N.Y., and still lives nearby. He studied veterinary and animal science at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He breeds and shows exhibition poultry and is an avid supporter of the 4H program. He works as a tattooist, writer, and artist. "The Legacy" is his second novel.
