When two killer military drones go missing, Robert, a civilian contractor with big ideas, is blamed. As a visit from the president looms, tensions rise and so do the stakes. In Ronnie Lee Graham's new novel, "The Inventor" (published by WestBow Press), the good side wins, but it is never that simple; an army general seeks revenge, his wife seeks meaning, his mistress seeks love and Robert seeks peace. Their quests become entangled as the plot leads to an explosive conclusion.

"I wanted to explore our role, as Christians, in the overall battle of good-verses-evil," Graham explains. "Are there points in time and space where we have greater roles, where our decisions have greater impact, than at others?"

As the story unfolds, a subtle tale about the forces that influence the characters' decisions plays out in the background. Ultimately, their fears, life choices, memories, beliefs and seemingly insignificant decisions impact the final outcome.

"This is a feel good book," Graham says. "The reader will smile, close the cover, take a breath, and look around, admiring God's creation after they finish the last page. That is what I want readers to take away, a moment of stillness, a moment knowing that God has it all under control."
