DES PLAINES, IL - Acclaimed American author Stephen King released his 55th novel, "End of Watch", on June 7th of this year, the finale to the New York Times bestselling trilogy. Prior to its release, his social media team turned to web design and development company Americaneagle.com to build an online quiz game to complement the new book and generate excitement.

Americaneagle.com built an innovative, entirely custom online quiz game, which was launched within a sub-section of the Stephen King site. The game was designed to generate anticipation and excitement around the new "End of Watch" novel release while also engaging fans with trivia from each of the books within the trilogy.

By playing the new game, fans of Stephen King could test their trilogy knowledge and enjoy a game that graphically captures the tone and theme that the books depict. Since it launched, the game has shown to be hugely popular with Stephen King's readers, attracting both new and long-time loyal fans.

Marsha DeFilippo, Stephen King's Executive Personal Assistant, commented: "This was our first big project working with Americaneagle.com, and it was essential that the project be cost effective and timely; the team exceeded our expectation and produced a game that truly gives our fans a unique experience. The design in particular captured Stephen's vision of an early generation video game, and is thoroughly reminiscent of the retro theme described in the novel. In terms of the technology we couldn't have asked for more. We are extremely proud to present King's fans with a cutting edge online game. It was built to be a fully responsive mobile interactive quiz game and works on the majority of mobile devices."
