SleuthFest 2016 Writers Conference will take place February 25-28, 2016 in Florida. Sponsored by Mystery Writers of America's Florida Chapter, SleuthFest will take place February 25-28, 2016 at the Doubletree Hilton in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Recognized as one of the country's preeminent conferences for writers in all genres, SleuthFest features four tracks of workshops, presentations, and panels on the craft of writing, business, traditional and self-publishing, marketing, and forensics. In addition, top literary agents and editors will be available to hear pitches from aspiring writers, offer troubleshooting sessions, and manuscript critiques.

This year's SleuthFest features a host of luminaries, including Keynote Speaker, CJ Box. A NY Times best-selling author, Box has won the Anthony, Macavity, Gumshoe, Barry, and Edgar Awards. The Florida Guest of Honor for this year's conference is NY Times best-selling P.J. Parrish-the writing team comprised of Kris Montee and Kelly Nichols-winners of the Thriller, Shamus, and Anthony Awards.

This year's Forensic Guest of Honor is Valerie Plame Wilson, former cover CIA operations officer and author of the New York Times best-selling memoir Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, which was later released as a major motion picture of the same name starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts. Special conference programming will feature Ms. Wilson interviewed by NBC's Kerry Sanders and by national best-selling author Paul Levine.
