Name and Age: Aaron, 27

Location: The Tendernob, San Francisco

Occupation(s) / Things You Do: I head the Customer Success team at DoubleDutch, a startup in SF providing data-driven apps for events. I spend most of my free-time finding and consuming new music. I'm an occasional blogger, having launched and re-launched my personal music blog several times (www.theAside.me) and have written a few posts on SFCritic.com. You'll also often find me with coffee or whiskey in hand (sometimes both) reading at some of my favorite parklets.
Current Reads: The Great Gatsby and Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series. Yes, I am excited for The Great Gatsby movie and yes, I failed to read this during high school.

Favorite Book of All Time: This is a rather tough question. To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee)is one that really sticks out but I also have a strong fascination with Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers (Mary Roach). I blame my background in anatomy for this one. Mary Roach takes a whimsical approach to the morbid, making it informative, and at times, entertaining.

Favorite Thing About San Francisco: The music scene! I'm a huge fan of live music and can quite often be found at a show dancing the night away. There isn't a week that goes by that I haven't found some sort of show or DJ set to go to.

This column features readers and book-lovers from around the San Francisco Bay Area. The buses, parks, and sidewalks are great places for sighting cool people getting their literary love on, so check back here often to see what they have to recommend.
