After overcoming many hardships in life, including a battle with cancer and a near death experience, Dr. Gary Miller Proulx has taken his experiences and created an action-packed novel that emphasizes overcoming diversity and encouraging peace.

"Seeds of Destruction" takes a realistic concept of terrorist creating a 'dirty bomb' or radiological bomb and presents this idea in a thriller revolving around protagonist Dr. Miller, whose cancer patients are dying due to fake radiation. Dr. Miller must race to stop the bomb from releasing the stolen radiation and potentially killing more innocent people.

"'Seeds' (lack of love, abuse etc.) planted figuratively by each of us can be dangerous and lead to destructive effects on our beliefs, actions and way of life," Proulx said.

Proulx uses his medical background in oncology to create a vivid storyline and background for Dr. Miller. For every book sold, Proulx hopes to donate a portion to charity, including One Fund Boston and cancer research and treatment.
