"Something Known", is the tale of a young monk, Eli Deo, who is about to leave his monastery in order to go out to discover the world beyond his simple life of prayer and devotion. However, the sacred, unknown brotherhood of Monks to which Deo belongs guards a powerful secret that holds Deo back from simply leaving. Instead, Deo flees from the brotherhood, an act that could lead to danger if the secret is revealed to the wrong parties.

Years later, Deo returns to the monastery as a wealthy investor, and purchases the land next to it. On that land, he builds a town so that he can use his secret knowledge on the residents who live there, in order to show the other monks that the secret is ready to be revealed to the world beyond the brotherhood. The brotherhood does not agree with or approve of Deo's desire to share the secret, and so an internal debate rages amongst the brothers as to what should be done with Deo and his town: should Deo be allowed to continue his experiment to see if the implementation of the secret is successful or should Deo, his town and its residents be eliminated so as not to allow the secret's power to be exposed which could have disastrous consequences?

Filled with magic and humanity, "Something Known" is a story of a community where individuals deal with the sufferings of mortality and the miraculousness of daily life.
