Author Ron Boehm reflects on a lifetime of rich experiences in his timeless collection of poems, "Kaleidoscope View: Poems About Love and Life" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Written over the course of Boehm's lifetime, the poems in "Kaleidoscope View" offer pearls of wisdom about a variety of topics. The book is divided into seven sections titled Love, Ladies and Flowers, Emotions, Places, Ambitions, Philosophical Ideas and Spiritual.

Arranged in chronological order, the earlier poems in "Kaleidoscope View" were written by Boehm as a young man; later entries reflect the musings of a middle-aged man wondering about who he is and where he's going. A final section attempts to answer the questions raised in earlier poems.

An excerpt from the book's title poem:

"Why do I thrill so just thinking of you?
I guess because I'm discovering more each day,
adding to a kaleidoscope view."

"In reading these poems, if the reader can feel the emotions, visualize the images, recall similar feelings and if the beauty touches them, or if they find just one answer, then that is what I would like for them to take away from my writings," Boehm says.
