Queonna White, a mother whose creative inspiration is her seven-year-old son, Tajion, has completed her new book, "The Giant Snake and the Brave Little Mouse": an inspirational lesson for children to overcome their fears and include everyone, even those different from themselves, in order to find success and happiness. The book is beautifully illustrated by Terrell White, bringing the story to life on each page.

In her book's dedication, White writes, "To my son, Tajion, thank you for being creative and unique. I admire the way you think." Her words show that this is a unique collaboration between a mother and her young son.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Queonna White's tale relays an important life lesson through characters that are intriguing and relatable to children. In the story, a mouse named TJ belongs to a kickball team called the "Cheeseheads," with other little mice.

The "Cheese Heads" are faced with not being able to play in the annual kick ball tournament because the cherry they use for a ball has not fallen from its tree. TJ conquers his fears of heights and the darkness of a cave where the cherry lands after he knocks it from the tree. Not only does TJ recover the cherry from the cave, so the game can go on, but he discovers a snake, Samson, is not as scary as he first thought. Samson joins the "Cheese Heads" and together they win the tournament.

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase "The Giant Snake and the Brave Little Mouse" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
