RONALD, Wash. - Patricia Lions has read all of the mystery novels written by renowned author Agatha Christie and was inspired by her and the possibility of writing her own mystery novel resulted in "Murder at Hollow Crest" (published by Xlibris).

This novel follows the story of Helen, a woman who was raised on San Juan Island with her father. Due to her father's job, he was not able to spend much time with Helen. She instead befriended Susan, a classmate and stays with her family most of the year. Helen and Susan grew up together, went to college together and were only separated when Helen married and moved to New York. After 20 years, Helen returns to the island to visit Susan. But little did they both know that they will find themselves involved in a murder mystery. They will have to spend countless hours trying to solve the murders. Can they do it? Will they do it?

"Anyone who likes mystery will find the book very interesting and suspenseful," says Lions. "The way it was written makes this book different from other mystery novels like it."

"Murder at Hollow Crest" is the type of story that could happen in everyday life. The author has kept the mystery of the murderer secret until the very end to allow readers to continually try to guess who the murderer is.
