Today, young people are learning little about the character qualities necessary for leading successful adult lives. Thus, they enter the mainstream of adulthood unprepared to tackle the expectations that come with life as successful, productive adults.

As the extension of one man's path and practice comes a new book, "Where's Dad? I Thought We Were Supposed to Talk!" written by Pat Combs.

Delivering a practical and effective "can do" perspective to resolving life's struggles and achieving success, "Where's Dad? I Thought We Were Supposed to Talk!" is geared toward youth, young adults, and parents. The guidebook provides practical knowledge for readers as they confront challenges related to relationships and work, while remaining devoted to Biblical principles.

Combs' goal for his book is to provide instruction to those who are disadvantaged by empowering them to achieve their highest potential. He intends to share essential wisdom with readers, enabling them to instinctively understand a moral understanding that embodies Biblical principles.

"This book is about having a common-sense understanding of how to overcome life's mainstream struggles, which come from dysfunctional family environments, poverty, broken homes, abuse, incarceration or loneliness," Combs said. "Our culture is filled with varying degrees of inhibitive dysfunction, and while this may not stop youthful people from living so-called 'normal lives,' it does inhibit them from living happy lives."

"Where's Dad? I Thought We Were Supposed to Talk!" instills knowledge in basic lessons about life, work, family, and faith. Combs keeps the book simple, understandable, and adaptable for readers looking to achieve success.
