Oscar Winner Melissa Leo to Write Memoir

According to EW.com, Simon & Schuster will publish a memoir by Oscar-winning actress Melissa Leo. Chronicling her life from childhood to her career, the book is scheduled for a 2013 release.

Her film credits include: A Time of Destiny, Last Summer in the Hamptons, 21 Grams, Confess, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. In 2009, she received an Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her role in Frozen River.

 In 2011, Leo earned several awards for her role as Alice Ward in the critically acclaimed film, The Fighter. For this role Leo won the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Leo currently appears on the television series Treme.
