Two friends learn lessons about courage, cooperation and resourcefulness in the new children's book by Ruth L. Ferguson, "Ashleigh's Fall" (published by Partridge Singapore).

With a storm fast approaching, young friends Jessica and Ashleigh are returning home to their caravan park after attending a Holiday Club in the local village. Jessica, in a rush to get home before the storm, takes a dirt path with a steep drop-off to one side.

Ashleigh is following Jessica down the path when the chain comes off her bicycle. She stops to put it back on and accidentally falls over the side of the cliff. While rain pours down and lightning strikes, Jessica races to help her friend. The two girls must rely on resourcefulness, determination and the spirit of cooperation in order to save themselves.

Combining practical life lessons with an action-filled story accompanied by colorful illustrations, "Ashleigh's Fall" is both educational and entertaining.
