CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Center for Disease Control and Prevention states that "Carbon Monoxide" (published by Xlibris) is an odorless, colorless gas that is found in combustion fumes and that body's red blood cells pick it up quicker than oxygen, blocking the latter from entering the body, causing injury and even death. Each year more than 400 Americans die of carbon monoxide poisoning and thousands end up in the emergency room or being hospitalized because of it. This has led author Ernest P. Chiodo to publish his book with the aim of raising awareness on the matter.

Concerned by the need for information regarding the medical and legal aspect of carbon monoxide exposure, Chiodo provides in his book an overview of the various implications that come with exposure to the substance. He covers important considerations in carbon monoxide cases and shares insights from the perspective of an experienced physician, attorney, toxicologist, industrial hygienist, and former senior public health official. According to Chiodo, his book is also helpful for non-attorneys and medical professionals who would like to know more about the subject.

"Carbon Monoxide" provides pertinent information on a health threat that, according to the CDC, can put all people and animals at risk.
