Author Martyn Gabe sparks the debate about major world issues by distilling the realities of today's global medium. He reveals "The Moral Vacuum" (published by Xlibris AU), a narrative about unbridled greed and how it has the potential to affect every human being in a technologically connected world.

A deconstruction of modern politics from September 11, 2001, to the ramifications of the modern day, this book challenges the official representation of 9/11, the global financial crisis (GFC) and the emergence of ISIS as the logical outcome that has the potential for a nuclear conclusion. It attempts to distinguish the myopia of modern politics for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many. Since the storyline is not fictional, the central tenets are those political and corporate relationships that create the crypto fascist nature that defines modern global politics and the reaction of extremism in the face of imperialism.

Gabe believes that the globalized society of today is better connected than ever before in history, but it is being manipulated by narrow and nepotistic concerns. He trusts the people to have the ability to redress that imbalance by utilizing the immediate connectivity with education, exposure and saturation.

"I want readers to challenge what politicians and the media present," the author says. "I want them to study the detail and the devil within and achieve better informed conclusions."
