Author Martin Kari believes everybody lives an interesting life. Extending his variety of writing with humour, he revisits the publishing world with the release of "Stories: Short & Spicy" (published by Balboa Press AU).

In this book, readers will find a collection of 52 varied stories, one story for each week of the year. It is especially written for people who believe to be in short supply of time. With its diverse themes and interesting topics, this book collection helps to open the readers' eyes and encourages them to compare experiences and knowledge. It will bring them on a journey where they go through life in all its aspects, including its highs and lows and twists and turns.

An excerpt from the book:
Mr. Positive and Mr. Negative have a beer together in their local pub. It's late in the afternoon, after a long day's work:
'How was your day?'
'If I complain, nobody listens, and they couldn't help anyway!'
'Well it can't be that bad; you still made it to the pub.'

"We all can learn from each other when keeping the mind open," Kari says. His rich insight and experiences will inspire readers to reevaluate their own life journey and appreciate where they are right now.

About the Author
Born in Transylvania during World War II as the second son of the wine-grower Michael Lutsch and his wife Sara, Martin Kari followed in his life many pathways. One way began with the escape of his adoptive parents to Germany. Technical and then formal higher education prepared the author for a life with a sense of exploration, adventure, intellect and humanity. Having worked and lived mainly on four continents as a global citizen, he settled successfully in Australia with his Finnish wife, Arja, and their six children in 1981. It was only in retirement in 2007 that he found the time to take up the pen again, proving that it is never too late to take on something new in life. Kari has published worldwide a number of books, so far ranging from: politics, novels, travel-stories, biography, practical philosophy and children's book (in the English and the German language).
