Bellevue resident and author Margarita Kouznetsova has spent the last six years creating an epic fantasy novel that could share the same audience as books by Suzanne Collins or J.K. Rowling

The Lost Twins of Zilonia (http://zilonia.com), an epic fantasy saga, launches today on Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing platform. Lost Twins of Zilonia has been garnering media attention in the past few weeks before its release as a "hot, new read for the summer."

No stranger to the world of twins, Kouznetsova has twin daughters of her own. Yet before she had twins, she had a very vivid idea come to her, almost fully formed, about how twins communicate. The U.S. twin birth rate is at a record high, according to the latest data from the Center for Disease Control. Out of every 1,000 deliveries, nearly 34 are twin births (Reuters, Jan. 15, 2015, http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/01/15/us-usa-births-idUSKBN0KO2HR20150115). Kouznetsova started to wonder if what they say about twins was true...Do twins have a somewhat magical connection? Can their minds really interact with each other remotely? And so began her story.

The Lost Twins of Zilonia is a fantasy novel about the power of the family bond and how two sets of royal twins use their deep connection to fulfill their destinies.

Just when an ancient legend predicting the birth of two sets of royal twins and the creation of an absolute magical power is on the brink of coming true, the evil king swoops in and conquers their land. The noble twins were separated to ensure their safety. Their parents were locked up in a hidden cave while the merciless king turned Zilonia into his own private playground, stealing magic and transforming people into fountains for his secret agenda. The story is filled with adventures and scary escapades involving the two sets of twins' journey that changes the course of all their lives forever and to those people around them whom love them.

About the Author

Margarita Kouznetsova, the mother of three, was born in 1974 in Siberia but grew up in an exclusive place called "Star City," where the astronauts lived and were trained. Everything about that place was magical; from its carefully defined lawns with fountains to the colorful streetlights that cast the shapes of galaxies into the night. In 1998, Kouznetsova moved to the United States with her husband and son, and in September 2009, Margarita had a vivid idea of her book The Lost Twins of Zilonia. She wrote the concept of her book overnight, then took almost five years to complete the manuscript. During that time, the author found out that she was expecting twin girls, which added a lot of new twists to the novel.
