Liz O'Donnell Releases MOGUL, MOM & MAID

The American Psychological Association reports that women experience heightened levels of stress during the holidays. To combat this, author Liz O'Donnell offers some helpful suggestions in a recent Huffington Post article and interview with Good Day Sacramento. Here are some ways busy working mothers can beat the holiday stress:

1. Skip sending Christmas cards this year. Save time, energy, and the planet.
2. Recycle an old holiday outfit, instead of stressing over buying a new one.
3. Avoid the mall. Online shopping and express delivery are time, money, and sanity savers.
4. Shorten the gift list. Generosity does not alleviate stress.
5. Gift bags > Gift wrapping.
6. Don't worry about holiday dieting. Indulge and enjoy.
7. Keep the "Elf" off the shelf. It's not necessary to partake in every tradition.
