Lee M. Odle, an accomplished individual who is a graduate of Purdue University three times over, as well as a forty-year veteran of the Student Hospital/Health Center's Medical Laboratory as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, has shifted her focus to writing and has completed her new book "An Irish Ghost Story: A Kate Ryan Mystery": a detective story with a spectral presence.

"Born and raised in Chicago to Irish immigrant parents, Kate Ryan is a forensic pathologist and medical examiner for the Chicago Crime Lab, consultant to Ireland's national police force, and part-time FBI agent with the bureau's Behavior Analysis Unit," Odle describes her main character. "Kate was born with many 'gifts' as her grandmother calls her psychic abilities."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Lee Odle's spooky story goes beyond simple clairvoyance in a detective: her partner in solving crime is her fiancé, Tim "T.D." Sullivan, a former member of the Chicago Police Department, and a current ghost.

Kate's psychic gifts, her guardian angel, and Tim's special link to the other side of the veil between the living and the dead, make them the perfect team to track down criminals.

Readers who wish to experience this exciting work can purchase "An Irish Ghost Story: A Kate Ryan Mystery" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
