LESSONS FROM MY TEENAGER is Released

Transmedia publisher Familius, today announced that it is inviting readers to submit stories on their website based on lessons learned from the teenager(s) in their lives to be considered for inclusion in the upcoming book, Lessons From My Teenager. The book is a follow-up to the popular Lessons From My Parents project that gathered international interest and was published by Familius in May 2013. Submissions must be received by the deadline of July 31, 2013.

Centered on the belief that parents are not the only ones who teach valuable lessons within the family unit, Lessons From My Teenager will remind readers that the lessons we learn as teens are applicable in our adult life as well.

"Whether you have raised a teenager, worked with a teenager, or sat behind one in a movie theater, chances are that one special teen has impacted your life and altered your perspective in some way," says Familius CEO Christopher Robbins. "We want to capture these life-changing moments and conversations in Lessons from My Teenager, as these little bits of wisdom are too valuable to forget and too valuable not to share with the world," adds Robbins.

To submit stories for Lessons From My Teenager, readers are encouraged to complete the brief submission form. Readers will be asked to share what they have learned from a teenager, from being a teenager, or from parenting a teenager. All story submissions must be received by July 31, 2013 to be considered for the book project.
