Selena Summers didn't want to be a movie star. But, when she went with her friend, Beth to be extras in a movie near Santa Fe, she was discovered by the director. She was also singled out by the handsome young star of the movie, Matthew Mason.

A modeling job led to a starring role in another movie, neither of which she was really interested in. Her dream was to become a published author and see her books in print.

As romance blooms with her co-star, Matt, she struggles between an unwanted movie career and making her real dreams come true.

Karen Webb lives in New Mexico and has traveled all over the country. She is an avid reader of fiction and enjoys writing it as well, setting her stories in locations she has visited. She writes as time allows, carrying a laptop with her and writing when she can.

"I have more ideas for novels than I have time to write," says Karen. She also enjoys gardening, horseback riding and hiking through the mountains, searching for buried treasure with a metal detector.
