Kafayat Obanigba describes her book as 'an expression of different emotions and thoughts at that present moment of time. I enjoy writing poetry because I find it very relaxing. It has been a love of mine from a very young age.'

Young and talented writer Kafayat Obanigba's poetry is causing quite a buzz, it is definitely a must have for poetry lovers. This book is a collection of over 100 poems all written by her.

Kafayat's poetry is inspired by life experiences.

"What is a beautiful moment which cannot be seen nor felt by another?" Kafayat believes it is beautiful for one to express oneself and share the beauty of that moment with others. This young and talented poet has been inspired to write ever since she began to read poetry from Carol Ann Duffy, her favourite being "Mrs Tilscher's class."

An excerpt from '100 thoughts from one mind,' from the poem 'Two Roads':

No time to turn back and see what could have been,
Look ahead at this road and repent your sins,
The path you have taken might be a one way road,
The destination of your road is waiting to unfold,
This has to be a decision that only I can make,
This is my life and it all comes down to the road in which I take.

'Everyone can relate to a particular poem because there is a range of emotions and feelings which are covered in the book,' Obanigba says. 'The issues and topics that are covered in the book are relevant to everyday life and are things which we all go through.'
