Jim Thomas, a first time children's author has completed his new book "The Journey of Benny the Button-Lost": the perfect read for children and adults alike.

Mr. Thomas is an accomplished business professional. After over 30 years working as a human resources professional, he transitioned to the role of human resources consultant. However, he has since transitioned his firm to providing personal career coaching to professionals in transition and working professionals wanting to achieve their career aspirations.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Jim Thomas's brave tale takes the reader on a voyage of a lost button.

This book was inspired by the author's son, James. "Benny the Button-Lost" is the story about a button that gets lost by accident and is later found, but not until he goes on a journey that only a button can describe.

Thomas says "I am sure many of you wonder where that button you noticed missing from your shirt or pants, or maybe a coat, went. Do they just vanish?"

When the author's son was four years old, he had the most difficult time when it came time to dressing himself. Buttoning his shirts, pants, and coats was a challenge. His challenges and accomplishments were interesting to watch. Much like the character in Benny the Button he had a favorite shirt and loved the buttons on it. His experience with the buttons on this particular shirt started the journey to write this book.

Readers who wish to experience this exciting work can purchase"The Journey of Benny the Button-Lost" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
