"The Second Coming of Jesus Christ": an intriguing and thought provoking commentary on the literal teachings of the Bible when applied to extensive experience and common sense interpretation of prophetic teachings. "The Second Coming of Jesus Christ" is the creation of published author, Jeffrey Samuel Steinman, PhD, a brilliant physicist who has pioneered numerous supercomputing software technologies and is regarded as a world-class expert in the field of parallel and distributed modeling and simulation.

One of the questions haunting Jeff Steinman was, why there would be disagreement within the evangelical Bible-believing church concerning the rapture? Dr. Steinman says, "This troublesome question led me to pursue research in cognitive modeling of human thought processes, ultimately leading to a series of critical thinking principles for interpreting scripture that are carefully described in this book. The goal of this book is to look at the prophetic scriptures using these rules to determine a self-consistent timeline for what the Bible actually teaches concerning the Second Coming of Christ."

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Jeffrey Samuel Steinman, PhD's new book takes a unique approach toward making sense of biblical prophecy about future end-times. Dr. Steinman uses his extensive experience in mathematical physics, supercomputing, aeronautical engineering, statistical data analysis, game theory, and artificial intelligence to form a set of rational and easy-to-understand rules for interpreting prophecy. Based on these fundamental rules and detective-like interpretation of prophetic biblical passages, he then lays out a rational timeline of events leading up to the Second Coming.

This book makes a very strong (and perhaps controversial) claim that the pretribulation theory of the rapture and Second Coming of Christ cannot possibly be correct. The pretribulation position believes that Jesus raptures his church before a future seven-year tribulation time period begins, and then he later returns once again at the end of the tribulation during the final battle of Armageddon to establish his millennial thousand-year kingdom.

In contrast to the pretribulation position, this book makes an overwhelmingly strong case for the pre-wrath position, which claims that Jesus returns to rapture his church at some unknown time after the midpoint of the seven-year time period, but at least five months prior to its end. This book repeatedly shows how the Bible universally supports this more straightforward and literal view with absolutely no contradictions or internal inconsistencies between scriptural passages. So the question is why has the mainstream church widely embraced the pretribulation position and not the pre-wrath position? To answer this question, Dr. Steinman devotes several chapters in his book to discuss learning and forming worldviews, rational rules for interpreting prophecy, and how the church needs to rethink its views on what it means to equip the saints.

Steinman concludes by stating, "The world appears to be accelerating toward Armageddon just as the Bible foretold. The only hope for mankind is for Jesus to return, rescue his people from the coming persecution, judge the wicked, and establish his millennial kingdom. Jesus must return to save the world before it self-destructs."
