As an educator for twenty years and a General Educational Development (GED) program coordinator, Martin Odudukudu recognized a gap that exists between the efforts and objectives of teachers and their students. In his new book, Interest and Learning, he provides an in-depth study of this disconnection and invites readers to join him in coming up with sound solutions.

Odudukudu's latest work is built around the principle that the student's interest should be made an important consideration in teaching. When this is accomplished, the learning process becomes much more effective and fulfilling not just for the learner but for the teaching professionals involved.

"In today's society, many educators do not quite understand or seek to help student by considering student interest. Therefore, teaching is not scientific. My book suggests that with student interest as a subject matter of teaching, students will learn much better," he says.

Backed by more than two decades of research and study, Interest and Learning is both an indispensible guide for beginners in the field of education and a trove of fresh and incisive insights for teaching veterans and experts.
