Hard Science Fiction Writer Jeff Carlson Releases 'Frozen Sky 2: Betrayed'

Jeff Carlson, has released his latest novel, the sequel to his award winning novel "The Frozen Sky", called "Frozen Sky 2: Betrayed". It is currently available on Kindle and Nook.

Jeff entered and won the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest in 2007 with "The Frozen Sky" and was published in the annual anthology.

The sequel starts with a quake in the ice which nearly kills Alexis Vonderach, setting off new confrontations with the blind alien tribes of Europa. In the weeks since First Contact, her crew has learned their bizarre language... but the sunfish are as violent as their world.

In a recent interview Jeff stated: "I went out of my way to clarify this is a short novel rather than a large sized door stopper. Why? Because as I wrote it, I realized Betrayed is a complete story unto itself and makes a fine new entry in what I'm calling "the Europa series." That's right. Series. I'm working on Frozen Sky 3 as we speak."

Jeff's "Plague Year" and "Plague Zone" novels published since his win in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest attracted a large audience and were published in multiple languages., making Jeff an international bestselling author.
