NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ America's sweetheart, Emily Maynard, is known by millions for her unprecedented appearances on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. When her high-profile search for true love led Emily to a dead end, she felt empty and utterly embarrassed. Yet somehow in the wake of her nationally televised failures at romance, Emily discovered strength she never knew she had and a truth she just couldn't shake.

In Emily's upcoming tell-all, I SAID YES: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love (Thomas Nelson, March 2016, $24.99, ISBN: 9780718038403), she candidly reveals her never-before-told-story of life before and after The Bachelorette and the profound new reality she discovered when she forsook fame in favor of serving God.

"Heartbroken, embarrassed, and feeling completely unlovable, God found me, picked me back up and showed me His love was all I've ever needed all along," says Emily. "I finally say 'yes!' to something much more than a guy's love. I said 'yes!' emphatically to finally resting in the peace and love that can only come from Christ. And that love has dramatically changed my life."

From the heartbreaking and tragic loss of her fiance, to the events that led her to a psychiatric wing in high school, to her new-found 'normal life' with 10-year-old daughter Ricki, husband Tyler Johnson and brand-new baby Jennings, readers will come to know Emily like never before and be inspired to discover the same love she found in the arms of God.

"This is a book about God's love and redemption, no matter how many mistakes you've made. Or in my case, failed television engagements!I want the reader to be encouraged to know that there is hope and you can say 'yes!' to a life of joy and peace."
