Author and poet Eleanor G. Nash has been previously published in various literary journals and magazines. Now, Nash is striking out with a collection of her own poetry in "40 Degrees from Elsewhere" (published by AuthorHouse).

"From the mundane to the mystical," Nash writes, "It touches on many dimensions of life and living." This eye-opening book offers keen insights of human behavior and emotions.

Filled with inspiring verses and vivid imagery, "40 Degrees from Elsewhere" draws from observations that Nash has made about modern society as well as her geographical locations. For twenty years, she lived in Pittsburgh which sits at 40 degrees north latitude. As life takes her thither and yon, Nash captures her growths in spirit and music through her dynamic poetry. Readers will be inspired to think through the questions Nash's poetry proposes.

Nash encourages readers to take amusement, appreciation and reflection from her poetry. "The book has a holds visual interest," says Nash. "From page to page, the eye does not grow weary from sameness."
