Author Eileen M. Timmins extols the virtues of mastering the art of forgiveness in her thoughtful, new, easy-to read book, "The Forgiveness Fairy: Sharing the Light of Forgiveness" (published by Balboa Press).

"Every human being has the need to learn how to forgive oneself, others and ask for forgiveness," Timmins writes. "We are not perfect beings - we are human beings - a human spirit which evolves throughout one's life."

Inspired in part by Louise Hay's popular book "You Can Heal Your Life," "The Forgiveness Fairy" uses metaphor to show the changes that are needed in order to truly forgive. Timmins shares inspirational quotations and outlines the steps to attaining joy through forgiveness of self, others and finding peace inside and out. "Anyone who reads this book will be able to act, deliver and live the joy of having a blissful soul, going forward," she states.

An excerpt from "The Forgiveness Fairy":

"In general, we tend to be harder on ourselves than we are on others. If you have made mistakes in the past, it is time to let your spirit heal by forgiving yourself. We all do things we are not proud of. We are human beings, not perfect beings. Understand that you were doing the best you could at the time, with the experiences and knowledge you had accessible and move on."
