Cynthia Griffin Reveals How God Gave Her ANOTHER CHANCE

It was in author Cynthia Griffin's junior year at St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, North Carolina that she met her husband, Terry. They had seen each other many times on campus. They got married on June 1979 in Baltimore, Md., and later moved to Chesapeake, Va., to their new home. After that, life pretty much went on as usual until in 1986 when things started to fall apart in their marriage.

Another Chance is an enlightening testimony detailing the great transformation that took place in the author's life which happened 11 years ago. After nine years of her marriage with Terry, the couple started to lose interest in one another and, it eventually led to their separation in April of 1988. She had realized that they were already two different people with different values and different lifestyles. They did not know how to make their lives as one anymore. The love they had shared in the beginning just faded away. It was just a spark that was left but it was not enough to go on living their lifestyle.

After their separation, the author felt lost and miserable. She took on the role of both parents to her children and with that came all of the responsibility she had to carry. She learned how to make it on her own but realized that it was not easy. She had no clue about life or about how she was going to handle it on her own. How did God transform her life during those times of trials and tribulations? How was she able to understand and realized God's plan for her life? How did God restore her family?

Another Chance reveals a living testimony to readers on how God continues to work for the good of His people and will never, ever leave or forsake them even during times of trials. About the Author

Cynthia Griffin was born and raised in Jersey City, N. J., where she attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1974. From there, she proceeded to attend and complete her bachelor's degree at Saint Augustine's College in Raleigh, N. C. She graduated from Saint Augustine's in 1978. In 1979, she married her college sweetheart, Mr. Terry Griffin, and from that marriage, they were blessed with two lovely children, Terry Jr. and Cynetheia. In 1999, the Lord further blessed their union by extending their family with two additional children, Chelvia and Christopher. She has also been blessed with two granddaughters, one eight and the other five months old. Their names are Khalani and Ariyah. She and her husband are members and leaders at Open Door Church located in Suffolk, Va. She has been a member since 1992 and her husband joined them in 1999. She and her husband enjoy proclaiming the gospel, and sharing in its teachings with others. They also receive invitations to come out and share their testimony with others on how God saved their marriage.
